SEVEN HELLS IT’S THIS QUOTE. as soon as I read this quote in Storm of Swords I decided it would be in my wedding vows and now gingerhaze has illustrated it and ok.
Sometimes I fall asleep on the phone with my boyfriend, and I know he doesn’t really like it, but it’s really one of the best feelings in the world, the next best thing to actually being with him, because at least I feel closer. Right up to the second I fall asleep. Waking up to my phone next to my ear, or barely being able to say goodbye because I’m so close to unconsciousness, it’s the most comforting thing in the world when he’s far away.
Stuff like this makes me feel boring. It’s all well and good to make lists like this, but I feel like none of it would happen. None of it. You know why? Cos I’m boring. I don’t instigate anything. I kind of sit there and contemplate life in silence because I’m comfortable enough to not have to say anything. However, I’d walk in the rain with you. I might not cook for you but I would clean up the dishes. And snuggle in bed. I’m always up for snuggling in bed. I would snuggle the cuss out of you.

Things like this are so cute to me. Secretly, I long for some inside joke to carry on forever like this. Like look, she even did it at the altar. From before they were dating to the altar. I’m secretly a sap okay. I love it when they do it in tv shows, real life, books, movies… especially movies, when they first meet and one of them says something and right in the dramatic finale, the other one uses the same line. Ugh it gets me every time. I’ve even sunk so low as to look for whatever that thing may be in the beginning. Half the time I’m right. The other half I forget to guess what it is, but that’s beside the point. The point is I want this. Some weird little inside joke thingy. And now that I’ve bared my soul I’m going to bed for real since I said I would an hour ago.
